Who I Am

I’m Dr. Kuan, a board-certified urologist, certified life coach, and creator of the Sex After Retirementnewsletter.

For more than two decades, I’ve worked with men navigating prostate cancer recovery, aging, hormonal shifts, and changing relationships.

My background is clinical.

But the most meaningful work I do now lives beyond the exam room.

It lives in the space between “everything looks good” and “I don’t feel like myself.”

In the questions men ask when the fixing is done, but the healing hasn’t quite happened yet.

What This Coaching Is (and Isn’t)

This isn’t therapy.
It’s not a medical appointment.
And it’s not a quick fix.

It’s a private, confidential 30-minute conversation designed to help you get clear on what’s actually going on—and what might help you move forward with confidence, honesty, and strength.

While I am a physician, I am not your physician in this context. This session is not a substitute for medical care. I will not be prescribing medications, ordering lab tests, or making medical diagnoses. If something comes up that may require medical attention, I will encourage you to follow up with your own healthcare provider.

This is a space for reflection, insight, and grounded guidance—not medical treatment.
